Flagship activities
Research Goals

· To develop understanding about Meteo France forecasters’ (a) forecast processes and (b) forecast communication and decision-support processes for high-stakes, spatially-localized, large-event venue events

· To investigate what other, “non-weather” factors influence these processes (e.g., time pressures, stress management, asymmetric penalties, recent successes/problems, cognitive and affective heuristics/biases)

· To determine how predictability limitations and corresponding uncertainty play a role in these processes
